Visual perception analysis through a tactile interface : Digitracking
“Investigating cognitive functioning through eye movements“Eye-tracking is a valuable tool in cognitive science widely used in research laboratories but difficult to apply to large scale studies. Digitracking is a new mobile and connected solution for visual exploration analysis. Attention maps obtained by this straightforward and quick solution are strongly correlated to conventional optical eye-tracking. “

Potential applications for detection and assessment of cognitive functioning disorders
« Digitracking was tested in detection and assessment of visual behaviour strategy in clinical situation. Impairments of visuospatial attention are a common consequences of vascular or traumatic brain injury. Digitracking has been tested in patients with hemispatial neglect. Atypical visual explorations are also observed in autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The discriminatory power of Digitracking to identify health subjects versus ASZD subjects has been compared to eye-tracking. »
